GIGARIG runs on gas-turbine exhaust heat with a dry solid sorbent, at atmospheric pressure throughout: no solvent inventory, no chemical resupply, no water treatment, and mechanical only maintenance a platform crew already handles.

The module is a self contained containerised skid, and the same unit works on platform supply and support vessels, capturing on the engines you already run with no fuel conversion. Where power-from-shore isn't practical, this is capture that lives on the installation itself and can be added a module at a time.

How it works

GIGARIG is a modular carbon capture system. It captures CO₂ from flue gas or exhaust using temperature-swing adsorption on a ceramic sorbent, regenerated by waste heat from the host process.

Each capture module is a containerised 40 ft unit, factory built and shipped on a standard flatbed, with site matched heat recovery and conditioning skids alongside. No chemicals, no solvents, no water consumption for capture. No pressure vessels; atmospheric pressure throughout. The sorbent is an inert ceramic with a replacement cycle of several years. Modules install in weeks and run unattended.

The system operates across a wide range of CO₂ concentrations and integrates with any process that produces waste heat above ~300 °C. One module, a small cluster, or a large array; capture capacity scales in single-module increments to match the application.

GIGARIG is being developed for deployment across waste-to-energy, biomass, oil & gas, data-centre power, shipping and refining. The same core technology applies to any source of CO₂ in flue gas with available waste heat. If your process has a hot exhaust stream containing CO₂, we’d like to hear from you.
