Enhanced Oil Recovery using Direct Water Capture

An EOR/DWC system involves CO₂ capture modules either floating on the surface or deployed subsea that remove CO2 from seawater, leaving it to regain its equilibrium by pulling more CO₂ from the air.

We take this captured CO₂ and use it for EOR, right over the well.

That is not all though…..

CO₂ emissions from the fossil fuel power generation systems on the platform (and nearby platforms) can also be partly or fully captured using DWC and added to the mix.  This could ultimately be extended to supply vessels and other vessels in the vicinity including nearby drilling rigs.

If the produced water on the platform is high in carbonates it can also be processed and longer term it should be possible to capture CO₂ from flaring operations also.

What do we need to make this a reality?

We need Operators to get in touch so we can work out an implementation strategy together and get this technology deployed.
